I urge you to pass the Hope for Missouri Patients Act. The legislation is in the House as a standalone bill (HB 2643) and in the Senate as part of a larger bill (HB 2372). We need this bill because the FDA does not have a process for offering individualized, customized treatments to patients. Almost 20 states have stepped in to fill the gap. Missouri needs to pass this legislation to help kids and other patients in desperate need of innovative therapies. Please don’t wait. If this legislation does not pass this session, patients who have no other options could die. This bill cuts red tape for doctors and hospitals. It’s a win-win for Missouri patients and healthcare professionals. Please vote for the Hope for Missouri Patients Act.
