This
bill has the potential to put many motorcyclists and bikers in harm's
way and could be wrongly classified as "Criminal Gang Members". Many of
us do a lot of charity work and help serve the community in the form of
toy runs, helping senior citizens, food drives and backpacks for school
kids. A lot of us belong to Motorcycle Clubs, Associations, MRO's
(Motorcycle Rights Originations), Motorcycle Ministries and/or
Independent Riders ... All of these could be put in harm's way due to
SB536 and HB 429 because of common patches, terminology and tattoos that
could easily be misrepresented and used against us.
We have just shy of 12,000 signatures on a petition to oppose HB429 & SB 536
