What's PRAMS?
The Pregnancy Risk Assessment Monitoring System, also called PRAMS, is a program that helps us understand what moms and babies experience during pregnancy and after birth. PRAMS collects important information straight from mothers about things like breastfeeding, safe infant sleep, health care, and what families need to stay healthy and supported, which is why we need to keep it around!

Why Does This Matter?
The Centers for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC) grants that fund state's implementation of PRAMS is set to expire April 30, 2026, and future funding is not secure.
Without PRAMS, we would lose a major tool that helps us understand families’ real needs and make smart, data-driven decisions. We cannot have that happen.
