Every Colorado student deserves access to a high-quality public school. But when it comes to facilities funding, charter schools - and the 136,000 students we serve - are being shortchanged.
As it stands, charter school students receive just $6,300 in school facilities funding per pupil for modernizing classrooms, improving athletics facilities, and enhancing libraries, compared to $21,000 for their traditional public school peers. That’s not fair.
We need a change. That’s why the Colorado League of Charter Schools is elevating this issue as a key priority within our 2026 Legislative Agenda — and why we need your voice at the table. Join us!
