Take Action to Support a Temporary Dog Breeding Moratorium in Philadelphia

Please contact your city Councilmember and urge them to support Councilmember Bass’s bill #250989 to amend Title 10 of the Philadelphia code and add a new Section, Section 10-119, to impose a temporary moratorium on the breeding and selling of dogs under 7 months in Philadelphia. It is important to both call and email and make your voice heard, respectfully, on this important matter. 

The AKC is opposing this bill and asking Councilmembers to reconsider their support, so it's critical that you both call and email your member of City Council, and the at large members of City Council, to ask them to vote YES on the temporary dog breeding moratorium this Thursday.
